Review Of Kitchen Aid KDTM354DSS

Design – 4/5

This product was recently remodeled as part of KitchenAid Appliances’ Architect Series II. Smooth, rounded edges and a seamless appearance distinguish it. A primary, forward-facing LCD screen is fitted flush with the stainless steel door, and the projecting handlebar gently curves outward.

The controls are hidden on the top of the door. The control panel features smooth, touch-sensitive buttons to maintain a seamless appearance. However, some customers have complained that the dishwasher’s rack does not fit the plates perfectly.

Noise Level – 5/5

When it comes to dishwashers, we have the first issue with the noise they make while cleaning. Although it may not seem like a big concern to some, we don’t want our dishwasher to disturb anyone.

This KitchenAid dishwasher is guaranteed to be extremely quiet when washing. It has a sound-isolating system called Whisper Quiet. The maximum noise of this dishwasher is 43 dB(A). It has excellent sound insulation and may be used at any time of day or night, including when entertaining guests.

Features – 5/5

The features of your dishwasher had an impact on how easy it was to use. ProWash, Tough, Normal, Light, Express Wash, and Rinse Only are offered on the KDTM354DSS. Simply select the cycle that matches the amount of dirt on your dishes, or use ProWash if your load is mixed.

There are a few options available to customize your wash further. The ProDry default is used to add a hot drying session to the end of a wash. You can turn this off to save time and energy. For getting through difficult stains, ProScrub activates the high-intensity spray jets placed at the back of the tub. The other settings, such as Hi-Temp Wash, Sani Rinse, and Top Rack Only, are also offered.

Performance – 5/5

The dishwasher works by continually spraying water onto the dishes, recycling and filtering that same water supply, then draining and rinsing with clean water.

Food particles can go back onto clean plates if a dishwasher’s filtration system isn’t well-designed. In terms of filtering food particles, the product ProFilter performs well. The regular cycle did not completely remove the meals and stains that were left behind. But the dishwasher generated clean dishes after several cycles.

Finished Product – 4.5/5

When it comes to the overall performance, the items loaded on the back of the top rack do not get as clean as those placed elsewhere with the normal cycle. In contrast, the Tough cycle stands up to its name. It completely removed all food particles and stains from the dishes. Express Wash performed excellent compared to other machines’ rapid cycles. Even though it’s designed for light stains, the lack of redeposit helped with the cleanliness of the dishes.
